Looking for a Polk County Lookup

I didn't find a page on the site with a list of people willing do local Polk County Look ups, so I thought I would post to see if anyone had such bandwidth.

I'd like to locate a will for an ancestor who died their 9/18/1909. Robert Losh is his name. I saw that the Clerk of the Court has an Index listing, and that the record, if it exists, would be archived at the State Historical Society. I'd like to first confirm it exists.

Or perhaps others know if I called the clerk, would they check the index for me over the phone? I haven't tried that yet.
