Adoption Hazel Alice Welker

My great grandmother Hazel Alice Welker (maiden name)was born January 9 1900 and adopted by Charles Sherman Welker (or Sherman Charles) and Mary Alice Welker residents of Polk Co. I have found some information through other descendants of Hazel saying that Hazel's "real name" before being adopted was Ishmeal Anastasia Bain (or similar)and her biological mother was Blanche Eleanor Bain and the father Leroy or Roy Strobridge. I'm just hoping someone has more definitive information regarding this or some type of record that can be shared. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
