I know my grandmother walked to the courthouse the day my father was born. It was important she be there. I do not know if she testified, wanted to witness something or had some other reason for being there. She may have been involved in someone else's divorce case. She may have had an interest in someone else's criminal case. All I know for sure was she was there on November 19, 1931. Would records be kept of what cases were heard that day?
