Seeking data on Samuel Joseph Wharton's years in Iowa. He died in Des Moines on March 23,1905, of asphyxiation (front page?) but is buried in Spokane, Washington with his wife Elma Detwiler Wharton. They had the following children, all thought to have been born in Iowa:
Alice Wharton born 1867..married Kesler.
Dr. Charles Henry Wharton born 1872...married Howell
Margaret Wharton born 1874 married Merrill.
Jennie Wharton born 1879 married Harris.
Would like to know their Des Moines addresses, especially between 1900 and 1905. Seeking information on their church membership and occupation. Would like any obituaries for this family. Thank you.
