I found a short 2 line death notice for Amanda J. Rodgers in the Des Moines Register on Friday, April 28, 1950. The funeral was handled by the Hamilton Funeral Home of Des Moines and you might want to see if they have additional information in their records. The funeral was to be held on Friday, April 28, 1950, as well. I found no obit for her. I also found a short news story regarding the death of Frances M. Rogers, in the Des Moines Register on Friday, February 18, 1921. The story spelled his name as Rogers (without the d)and the same spelling for his 4 sons, only one who was listed as living in Des Moines.
