Adoption record blocked

Looking for more information on an adoption that took place in Des Moines March 1939. Wrote for the birth record, but the parents names had black marker accross the names. I do have the name of the home where the baby came from. What should I check now. The "baby" is now into her 60's. NEED MEDICAL HISTORY of birth parents.
