I checked the Des Moines Register microfilms and was unable to find an obituary for her. I did find a death notice, issued by the funeral home. You may want to contact the funeral home and see if they have an obituary they can copy for you. The death notice ran in the Monday, January 10, 1977 edition of the Des Moines Register. Services were to be held Tuesday (January, January 11th) 3 p.m. for Rose L. Knause, 1234 East Seneca, at Hamilton's Funeral Home and interment at Glendale Cemetery. In the Saturday, January 8th Des Moines Register, under the column heading "Des Moines Deaths": KNAUSE, Rose, 55, of 1234 E. Seneca Ave., died Friday at Mercy Hospital.
