Looking for info on gggg grandfather Nicholas BEERY b03-08-1789 Rockingham County, VA, moved to what is now Polk County in 1847, settled on farm which is now Des Moines. Married Mary SEITZ. Nicholas killed by indians 1850-1851 had sons Noah b02-06-1826 and Seth b1829 who owned shop at Fort Des Moines.
