Note: family records show name as James H. Simpson but middle initial may be in error as wife Olive Simpson's middle initial is "H" (born 1823 in Mass.). Census records don't indicate any middle initial for James (born 1817 in NY)but it may actually, be "M." (as his wife, Olive, is buried in Des Moines in Woodland Cemetery (d. 1892)as Mrs. J.M. Simpson.] Their children all born in NY were: a son, James M. Simpson (census show as a printer, born 1880 in NY); and 2 daughters, Mamie (b. 1869) and my great-g.mother, Olive (b. 1855) who married my great-g.father, Jacob Tuttle Long. My question again is the burial location of of my gg-grandfather, James Simpson. Also, if possible, the town/county where James and Olive (Clark) Simpson were born and their parents. Thank you!
