Martin Just, 67, of Ankeny, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Cremation will take place and a visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2012 at Ankeny Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m.

Martin was born on March 13, 1944 in Underwood, ND. He worked as a sales manager for Carlson Systems in Des Moines, Iowa for most of his life up until his retirement. He loved spending time with his grandson Douglas, traveling, and was an enthusiastic golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen of Ankeny, IA; son, Michael (Beth) of Elkhart, IA; son, Christopher Just of Ames, IA; grandson Douglas of Elkhart, IA; sister, Raylene Erickson of Delano, MN; brother, Lloyd (Elaine) Just of Aberdeen, SD; brother Gerhart (Marlene) Just of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Denise Just of Gilbert, AZ ; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Theophil and Verna, and a brother Fredric Just.
