Marjorie Josephine McBee passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Bright Kavanagh Hospice House. Marjorie was born August 17, 1918 in Decatur County, IA. She married Charles Ray McBee August 6, 1937 and was loved by her family spanning five generations. Preceding her in death was her husband of 67 years, Charles; brothers, Julian Van Winkle and Gordon Stout; daughter, Sandra; son, Gerald; granddaughter, Leyann and great-granddaughter, Katie.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Cathryn), Larry (Connie), and Jerry (Janet); 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Janet.

Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive with visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Bright Kavanagh House, 3000 Easton Blvd., Des Moines, IA 50317.
