Brandon C. Phillips passed away on December 10, 2011, in Bright Kavanaugh House in Des Moines. He was born in Humbolt, Iowa on November 3, 1971.
Brandon was a 1990 graduate of Nevada High School, Nevada, Iowa. He earned a degree in Respiratory Therapy from DMACC in 1993 and worked as a respiratory therapist at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames, Iowa. While at Mary Greeley he studied and passed the National Boards in respiratory and began work on earning ceritification in sleep therapy. He later passed the National Boards and worked in sleep study in Arkansas, Colorado and Iowa.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Judy (Dan) Archip of Minburn, Iowa; his father Bill (Mary) Phillips of Nevada, Iowa; his brother, Jason Phillips of Slater, Iowa and his brother, Heath and niece, Alana Kaiya Langmo of West Des Moines, Iowa.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. His body was cremated and a memorial service will be held in the Spring. The family requests that any memorials be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
