November 5, 1956 ~ December 7, 2011. Our loving Brian has been called home after his courageous battle with cancer. Leaving behind the love of his life, Sandi Peterson, his two beloved sons, Cory Kurt and Chad Brian, along with his grandson, Cash Riley.
He truly enjoyed life to its fullest. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter. However, his greatest joy was being a father to his children. Friends and family alike knew him as a true man of his word. He could always bring a smile to those who needed it the most.
Brian is survived by his siblings, Steve (Judy) Peterson, Marcene (Danny) O'Brien, Cindy (Kim) Blanchard, Alan (Susan) Peterson, and Jerry (Nadine) Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his nephew Ross Blanchard. Papa Pete's words to live by "Square Up And Get Your Mind Right."
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10 at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale.
