Jarrett W. Goodman (January 11, 1925 - December 6, 2011) A follower of Jesus Christ, Jarrett was called to the home of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Towers) Goodman; five children and their spouses, Jacqueline (Goodman) Dreon (Bruce), Jarrett Goodman lll (Ginny), William Goodman (Cheryl), James Goodman (Diane), Robert Goodman; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Thomas Goodman and grandson, Garrett Bodell-Goodman. Jarrett was a decorated veteran of WW ll, a mathematics teacher and programmer of the first computers. Visitation will be at 12 to 1 p.m.on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at New Hope Assembly of God, Urbandale. A Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Church with burial and Military Rites following at McDivitt Grove Cemetery.
