Kenneth N. "Bud" Howell, 79, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at VA Hospital. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 25 at Iles Funeral Homes – Grandview Park Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date.

He was born in Duke Center, PA on February 21, 1933 the son of Howard and Cecil Howell. He served in the US Army for 8 years then in January 1955 was united in marriage to Donna Dillenburg and they moved to Iowa.

He was a loving husband and wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna; six children: Don, Mike, Howard, Karen, Susan and Patty; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Todd.

Memorials may be directed to his family.
