John Utter, 64, passed away at his home Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
John was born October 25, 1947 in Stuart, Iowa to Fred and Blanche Utter. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. John was a great handyman and retired from Lowe's. He enjoyed collecting Disney memorabilia.
John is survived by his brother, Chuck (Diane) Utter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. followed by burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date. There will be a visitation Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
