Jennifer Ellen Razor, daughter of Elroy and Ann (Palmer) Jacobus, was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 30, 1962, and passed away on June 13, 2012, at the St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 49 years.
Jennifer was raised and lived most of her life in Des Moines where she attended Saydel High School. She had been employed as a medical aid in senior citizens assisted living facilities at Bristol Manor in Princeton, Missouri.
Jennifer was united in marriage to Eldon Thomas "Tom" Razor on July 30, 1998. Tom survives her of their home at Lake Marie, southwest of Mercer, Missouri. She is also survived by her daughter, Christina Overton of Des Moines, Iowa; her son, Jody Overton of Ft. Madison, Iowa; two granddaughters; two sisters, Lou Ann and Paula; and by other relatives and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents.
Jennifer lived most of her life in the Des Moines, Iowa, area where she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. In her spare time she loved to crochet, fish and read.
Jennifer was cremated under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton, Missouri.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held for family and friends Saturday July 7, 2012 3 to 5 p.m. at the Norwoodville Community Center.
Contributions will be collected and donated to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in her honor.
