Jerry Gathercole, 58, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Des Moines. He was born June 12, 1954.
Jerry was an avid Hawkeye and Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed cooking, camping and listening to the Grateful Dead.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Ann and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 8th at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines. Services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9th at the funeral home, with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa Commission for the Blind.
