Walter was born on December 26, 1956 in Krakow, Poland to John and Bruno Spiewak. He lost his 4 year battle with cancer on October 22, 2012 at the Bright Kavanagh House. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Brooks South Town Chapel. His funeral will be 2 p.m., Thursday, at the chapel with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Walter enjoyed camping, fishing, fixing cars, wrestling, carpentry, but most of all the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and his loving son, Bill Mongar.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Nancy; sons: Joe, Jon (Elaine Pacha), and Josh Spiewak; daughter, Jenni (Ivan) Roman; daughter-in-law, Brandy Mongar; grandchildren: Ashley, Kaylee, Destiny and William Mongar, Josie, Melanie, Emily and Abby Roman, and Isabella Hoffman; great-granddaughter, Maycee Mongar; many other loving relatives; and most of all, Kurva-much.
