Maxine Litchkey, 87, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born September 27, 1925 in Des Moines to Jesse and Ruth Lacher.
Maxine was a Line Leader for Parker Brothers for 17 years. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Maxine is survived by her husband of 70 years, Warren Litchkey, Sr. of Johnston; daughter, Norma (Jerry) Ward of Johnston; son, Warren "Buzz" (Becky) Litchkey of Des Moines; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Ridgedale Cemetery in Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Maxine.
