John "Bud" C. Irvin, 79, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. He was born December 21, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Bud was a gold club member at Prairie Meadows. He enjoyed hunting, wood carving, and his Monday poker night with friends and family. He retired from DSM Steel.
Bud is survived by his wife Judith Irvin, seven children, many foster children, sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at Des Moines Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2317 Watrous Ave, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2012, with a visitation preceding at 9:30 - 11:00 at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of "Bud."
