Suzanne M. Stigler, 48, of the 3400 block of Grand Avenue died of a heart ailment Thursday at home. Services will be held at a later date in Chicago, with burial there.
Ms. Stigler was born in Chicago and had lived there most of her life before moving to Des Moines four years ago. She had worked in shipping and receiving for CDS.
She is survived by a daughter, Rochelle Greene, and a son, Dennis, both of Des Moines; four sisters, Phyllis Stigler of San Diego, Debra Safro and Linda Merrick, both of Chicago, and Paula Stigler of Des Moines; and two brothers, Marcus Stigler and Mario Stigler, both of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Her companion was Troy Young of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
