Pearl Harris, 92, of Lakewood, Colo., died of a respiratory ailment Saturday at Lakewood Meridian. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Woodland Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Harris was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Des Moines from 1945 to 1983 before moving to Evergreen, Colo. She moved to Lakewood five years ago. She was a homemaker, a member of Temple B’Nai Jeshurun Sisterhood, the Iowa Jewish Home Association and Women’s Jewish Welfare Federation and past president of Evergreen Historical Society, Women’s Club and Hadassah.
She is survived by two sons, Lowell of Lakewood and Irwin of Kearney, Neb.; two daughters, Marlene Smith of New York City and Renee Dudovitz of Atlanta; a sister, Elsie Shapiro of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert.
Dunn’s Funeral Home in Des Moines is handling arrangements.
