Verna Miller, 85, of NBA-Ramsey Home died of congestive heart failure there Tuesday. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brethren Cemetery in Panora.
Mrs. Miller was born near Yale and had lived in Osceola before moving to Des Moines in 1977. She had worked for Lane Bryant at Merle Hay Mall before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Rodrigues of Waukee; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Barton Miller.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of graveside services at Beidelman-Twigg Funeral Home in Panora. Memorial contributions may be made to West Des Moines Christian Church.
