BERNARD G. KRAMER, SR.

Bernard G. Kramer, Sr., 90, died Sunday, April 1, at the Pocahontas Manor Care Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, April 3, at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, Pocahontas, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Mike Reis, Dwight Kramer, Larry Kramer, Mike Lester, Tim Kramer and Russell Kramer.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; sons Leon, Fonda; Vernis, Havelock; Kenneth, Grinnell; Loren and Eugene, Fort Dodge; Robert, Storm Lake; Bernard Jr., Gerald, and John, all of Pocahontas; Michael, Cherokee; daughters, Mrs. Ruth Reis, Pocahontas, and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Wirges, Omaha, Neb.; 31 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Agnes Wiedemeyer, Carroll.

Mr. Kramer was born at St. Lucas, Iowa, and educated at St. Lucas and Maple River, Iowa. He married Marie Ocken in 1925 at Maple River. They farmed near Maple River until 1942 when they moved to a farm near Pocahontas. Mr. Kramer retired several years ago and continued to live on the farm. He entered Pocahontas Manor in April 1982.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
