Hello Mr.Fisher, Yes, Marietta Axtell is listed on as a 'rider' of the orphan trains to Lawler, IA. We have a web site: iagenweb.org/iaorphans/

where you may obtain more information about the orphan train era. Also, I have written a booklet describing "How & Where" to obtain biological documents about this child. I produce it here at our home & if you are interested I sell it for $15.00 & this includes postage. Just let me know & I will reserve one for you & when your check arrives here I will send it right off to you. You may do the search right from your own home with this booklet. It has all of the forms, address' & clues you need for a successfull search.
