Urdangen

URDANGEN, SIEGAL, SKOLNICK, CROUNSE

I am trying to find information about the Urdangen family from Muscatine Iowa and the country of origin of the Urdangen family. I have heard that there is a Dane my age (48) who is also searching this information. Rumors are that they are from Skuodas or Litvia Lithuania, Odessa Russa, or that "Urdangen" is the name of a town in one of the Scandanavian countries. Other family names are Skolnick, Siegal and Crounse. Can anyone solve some of this puzzle? Thank you.
