Page 3Funeral services over the remains of the late Andrew Connor, who passed away Saturday evening were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday, Oct. 19, from the home of his niece, Mrs. Charles Hardman on Muscatine Island. The Rev. Hugh Graham of Grandview, officiated. The pall bearers were James McCormick, John McCormick, Charles Wilson, Charles Rockafellow, James Beatty and Robert Martin. Mr. Connor's death occurred suddenly about six o'clock Saturday evening shortly after he had started the evening meal. He suddenly raised his hand and his niece, Mrs. Hardman with whom he had made his home for the past fourteen years, hurried to him. Before she arrived at his side he had passed away.
He was born at Orange county, New York, was 78 years of age and had been a resident of this county for the past 68 years. He is survived by one brother, R.B. Connor of Muscatine island, several half brothers and half sisters, and the following nieces and nephews: Harry Connor of Sweetland; John Connor of Downey, Ia.; Charles Connor of Grandview; Mrs. Charles Spring and Mrs. Charles Hardman of Muscatine Island and Mrs. Lillie Hughes of Tama, Ia.
