Graveside rites for Mrs. Edgar (Lela C.) LaRose, 72, will be held at the Durant cemetery, Muscatine, at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16. Visitation is at the George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral home, Muscatine, from 3 to 8 p.m. today (March 15).

Mrs. LaRose died at her home in Muscatine March 13.

The daughter of Fred and Lizzie Schafer Bunge, she was born in Cedar county May 10, 1916. She married Edgar LaRose in Davenport June 19, 1948. She was a lifetime resident of the Muscatine area.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Arlinda LaRose, Muscatine; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alma Bunge and Mrs. Kenneth (Dala) Herr, Wilton and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister. A memorial has been established for her at the funeral home.
