Last rites for Raymond J. Morgan, 57, West Liberty, will be held at a later date, under the direction of the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Mr. Morgan died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Feb. 17.

The son of Walter E. and Thelma M. Coones Morgan, he was born at Oscelo, Mo. Aug. 24, 1931. His first marriage was to Nancy Lathy in Kansas City in 1956. He married Leanna Miller in Muscatine July 2, 1977. He was a plumber and worked for North Star Steel for 10 years.

Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in both the army and navy.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Michael, Kansas City and Jay; 2 daughters, Debra Schultz, Kansas City and Kathleen; a stepdaughter, Kelly Miller of Orlando, Fla.; 6 grandchildren and 7 brothers. He was preceded in death by a brother.
