Funeral services for L. Irene Atkins, 50, Atalissa, will be held at the Snider Funeral home, West Liberty, at 1:30 p.m. today (Dec. 3). Burial will be in Overman cemetery. Mrs. Atkins died at her home Nov. 30.

She was employed at the Wooden Nickel Tavern, Wilton.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Kathy Woodword, Muscatine and Karen Atkins, Houston, Texas; 2 sons, Lawrence Griffin, Cleveland, Ohio and Jeff Atkins, Atalissa; 3 grandchildren; her mother, Myrtle Arnold and a brother, Lester Arnold, both of Wapello.
