Funeral services for Archie H. Staley, 96, will be held at the Church of Christ, Atalissa, at 1:30 p.m. today (March 13) with burial in Overman cemetery. Mr. Staley died at the Muscatine Care center March 10.

He was married to Lillian Wiese in 1917. She died in 1947. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Modern Woodmen.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Fern) Thomason and a son, Robert, both of Atalissa; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Tony (Teresa) Hunter, Wilton.
