Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Meyers, 92, West Liberty, were held June 7 at the Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty, with the Rev. Gerald Allsup officiating. Burial was in the Nichols cemetery.

Mrs. Meyers died June 4 at the Lone Tree Care Center following an extended illness.

She was born May 27, 1892 in North Point, Neb. to Henry and Sophia Hagerman Geirse. She married Gustav Meyers Dec. 30, 1919 in Muscatine and she was a member of the Adah Rebekah Lodge of West Liberty.

She is survived by a son, Donald, Nichols; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Doris) Thompson, Iowa City; 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958, one sister and 4 brothers.
