Funeral services for Ethel Christensen, 87, formerly of Wilton, were held Aug. 16 at Lacock Funeral Home, with the Rev. G. W. Ukena officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Christensen died Aug. 14 at the Muscatine Care Center.

She was born Dec. 8, 1896 in West Liberty to John and Lottie Hawk DeMean. She married Arthur Christensen Dec. 23, 1915 in Muscatine. He died in 1970.

Mrs. Christensen was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America in Wilton.

She is survived by a son, Ardel, Wilton; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-granddaughters and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Homer, Silvis, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
