MRS. SWAN'S COUSIN HERE
Terrible grief came to Mr. Clyde Hinchliffe, when the news of the double tragedy at Muscatine (which cost the lives of two prominent citizens, as recorded in the telegraphic columns of the Press-Citizen) reached him.

Mr. Hinchliffe is a cousin of the widowed slayer and suicide.

When the news reached him, he hastened to Muscatine to be at the side of the stricken ones. His wife accompanied him, and Mr. Ed. Donovan, accompanied by his wife (the Donovans and Hinchliffes being related by marriage) drove overland with the other three Iowa Citians.
