LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

“In the name of God, Amen.

I, Sarah A. Gable of Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First. I order and direct my Executor as soon after my decease as practicable, to pay off and discharge all the debts, dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my decease.

Second. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Maude Gable ($15.00) Fifteen dollars and all of my clothing and one good bed the selection of which to be left to her choice.

Third: I give and bequeath unto my husband W.H.H. Gable all of my real estate and personal property of whatsoever kind ,notes and mortgages, stocks, book accounts, Life Insurance, etc. which may be left after paying my Daughter Sarah Maude Gable the amount as set forth in this instrument and after paying all my legitimate debts, and after the erection of a suitable monument to my memory which is to be left to the judgment of my Executor hereinafter named.

Fourth. I hereby nominate and appoint my husband W. H. H. Gable Executor of my estate, he not to be required to give bonds as such Executor “.
