Last Will and Testament
Date, Mar. 12, 1914.

Record, Will Record No. 4, page 11.
Admited to probate April 13, 1914." I, Mrs. Mary Connell, do hereby make, publish and declare the following instrument as and for my last will and testament.
1. I will that all my just debts shall be paid first.
2. To Rev. Father Martin for the Sacred Heart Church, I give, divise and bequeath the sum of $500.00 , and ask that he say masses for me and my husband deceased.
3. To Thomas Egan, my nephew, of Osage, Iowa, I give, devise and bequeath the real estate residence property situated at the Junction of 9th St. and Main St., Osage, Iowa, now occupied by Frank Gregory.
4. To Annie Griffin, my niece, I give, devise bequeath my homestead house and one lot on which it is situated, being on Main Street between 12th and 13th Sts., Osage, Iowa.
5. To Mrs.Tom Mahoney, of Alta Vista, Iowa, my niece, I give, devise and bequeath the sum of $500.00. She is a poor woman and has a large family and has no use of one hand.
6. To my niece, Jenny Murray, I give,devise and bequeath the sum of $300.00.
7. To my niece, Rosie Dalton, who is a niece by marriage, being niece of my deceased husband, I give, devise and bequeath the sum of 300.00.
8. To Laura Carroll Stibal, of Little Cedar, Iowa, my niece, I give,devise and bequeath the sum of $500.00.
9. It is my will and I hereby direct that my executor herein after named shall divide, the rest residue and remainder of my property among my blood relatives, including the blood relatives named as devisees and without taking into consideration the property devised and bequeathed to them, in the proportions and shares in which they would inherit the same by law, and to all my other blood relatives who will be legal heirs of mine at my death, I give, devise and bequeath the rest, residue and remainder or my property, giving to each that share and proportion which the law would have given them under the rules of inheritance had I died possessed of nothing but property valued equal to such rest, residue and remainder, and leaving no will.
10. It is my will, and I hereby appoint Marshall Sweeney to be the Executor of this my last will and testament.
