AFFIDAVIT: Dec. 8, 1953.

I, Alma Steward, being first duly sworn on oath depose and say that I am a resident of Mitchell County, Iowa, and have been such a resident for 21 years; that I am the widow of Everett Steward who died a resident of Mitchell County, Iowa, on or about November 3, 1953; that he left no Last Will and Testament; that he left surviving him myself and the following heirs at law, they being children: LeRoy Steward, age 23, Doris Steward, age 20, Eugene Steward, age 18, Marlene Steward, age 16, Merle Steward, age 13, Betty Jean Steward, age 11.

That decedent owned no property at his death except a 1951 Ford Tudor automobile, Motor No. B1SP-1196757, registered in the name of E. E. Steward (he being one and the same person as Everett Steward) bearing a 1953 Iowa license No. 66-2073.

That no probate on the estate of the said Everett Steward is contemplated; that he was the head of a family , used said automobile in our farm business and the same was exempt property in his hands under the Laws of the State of Iowa and is also exempt property in my hands as his widow and under the Laws of Iowa I am the person legally entitled to said automoblie.

This affiant therefore asks that said automobile be transferred to her.
