AFFIDAVIT: 1947

I, Lloyd H. Staff, being first duly sworn on oath depose and say that I am a resident of Mitchell County, Iowa, and am of legal age.
That I am a brother of Hans G. Staff, also known as Hans Galen Staff.
That I know that Hans Galen Staff and Lora Margaretta Smith were married on or about June 27, 1937, at Nashua, Iowa; that I also know that said Lora Margaretta Smith was more commonly know as Margaretta Smith (later Margaretta Staff) and that she was one and the same person as Lora M. Staff who on June 23, 1945, was granted a decree of divorce from Hans G. Staff in the First Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada in and for the County of Orsmby, a certified copy of which decree is of record in Mitchell County, Iowa.
