WILEY ADAMS DEAD.
Liscomb Young Man Dies of Hemorrhage--Was Recovering.
Wiley Adams, aged 20 years, of Liscomb, died at St. Thomas hospital about 4 o'clock Friday afternoon of hemorrhage, resulting from an abscess due to appendicitis for which he was operated on ten days ago. The abscess, which was very deep, affected arteries of the pelvis, causing at least one of the larger ones to sluff off. Death from bleeding followed. Mr. Adams was making a most satisfactory recovery, and Friday morning he felt so strong that he wanted to sit up. The hemorrhage occurred at about 8 o'clock. The case is on unusual one of its kind.
Mr. Adams was brought to the hospital from Eldora. He was born in Marshall county August 25, 1887, and is known in Liscomb and its vicinity where relatives reside. He has one brother, Elam Adams, also two aunts living near Liscomb.
The body will be taken to Liscomb where the funeral will be held in the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. George Biersborn officiating.
