Billie Lucille Snodgrass, 75, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Wednesday, June 14, at Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers. Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 19, at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, the Rev. Michael Crouch of First Christian Church officiating. Burial: Forest Cemetery. Visiting hours begin 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers, Fla.
Billie Snodgrass was born Aug. 10, 1924, in Oskaloosa, to Raymond Paula and Caroline Hitt Robinson. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1942. She married Laurence Robert Snodgrass on Nov. 10, 1946, in Oskaloosa. She lived in Ottumwa for 37 years, and has lived in Fort Myers, Fla., for the past 10 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and all kinds of animals and enjoyed reading. She enjoyed Cents Off Coupons and spent many hours helping circulate Coupon Robins throughout the country to several hundred Coupon Robin members. She was a member of First Christian Church in Oskaloosa.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Snodgrass, of Fort Myers, Fla.; a son, Robin L. Snodgrass of Iowa City; a daughter, Jann E. Smit of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Snodgrass of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Robinson and her mother, Caroline Cornell.
