Kyrstin LeAnn Lockard Rascon, 3 month old daughter of Shannon Lockard and Jon Rascon of Oskaloosa died Friday, March 19, at Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa. She was born Dec. 2, 1998 in Oskaloosa.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, at Bates Funeral Chapel, Pastor Dan Carter presiding. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery of Oskaloosa. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters: Savannah Nicole Heidbreder of Fort Madison and Lydia Jo Dodds of Mt. Pleasant; her maternal grandparents: Donna and Jim Lockard of Rose Hill; paternal grandparents: John and Debbie Rascon of Fort Madison; maternal great-grandfather: Ralph Lockard of Oskaloosa; maternal great-grandparents: Keith and Anita Morgan of Rose Hill and Bill and Rita Garman of Oskaloosa; paternal great-grandparents: Matthew and Amelia Estrada of Fort Madison and Juan Amaya Rascon of Ensenada, Mexico; maternal great-great grandmother Helen Garman of Oskaloosa; and aunts and uncles.
Rascon was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Wilhelmina Lockard, and paternal great-grandmother, Matilda Rascon. (The Oskaloosa Herald, date unknown)
