COX.--Died, Saturday, October 19,1889, at 9:10 o'clock A. M., from diabetus, at the home of his brother Newton Cox, in Spring Creek township, CYRUS Cox, aged 29 years. Funeral Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from residence of Newton Cox. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery. (Oskaloosa Herald, October 24, 1889)
