Martha Sue "Marty" Brusto of Leon, daughter of Lewis Lester and Katherine Byrd (Vaughan) Coe was born Dec. 23, 1926 in Parkersburg, WV, and died Jan. 27, 1998, at Leon Care Center in Leon, Iowa, at the age of 71.

Marty graduated from Earlham High School in Earlham, Iowa. She worked in Des Moines, Iowa for several years before moving to California. She worked as a secretary at Edwards Air Force Base in California. She returned to Iowa in 1975 and later became a resident at Leon Care Center.

Mary was married to Jack Brusto, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two infant children; one sister Corinne Elson; and one brother Charles Coe.

She is survived by son Daniel Franklin Fink of California; one granddaughter Juanita Markut, Oroville, CA; five great grandchildren; sister Janice Austin, Afton, Iowa; brother Carroll Coe, Fairbanks, Alaska; and other relatives and friends.

Burial was in the Earlham Cemetery.
