The Rev. William Byron Maggs was born July 7 1857, at Winterset, Iowa. Died at Ford, Kansas, October 26, 1911. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church on Sunday, the 28th, conducted by Rev. I.M. Waldrop of the Congregational church, and Rev. C.S. Hiutsell of the M.W. church. Interment was made in the Ford cemetery.
The Maggs family lived in Madison County, per the 1856 state census.
