Saturday March 28, 1914Mrs. Anna Thomas, aged 85 years, died at 5 o'clock Saturday morning at her home, 411 Park avenue, from paralysis, after three days; illness. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.F. Wise, three grandchildren, Lulu, Anna and Robert Wise, and two brothers, James Abrahams of Winterset, Ia., and Joseph Abrahams of Texas.
Mrs. Thomas has been a resident of this city for forty-four years, coming here from Winterset. Her husband died last September, after sixty-two years and five months of married life. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Broadway M.E. church.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the residence. The service will be conducted by Rev. Edgar Price of the First Christian church, who is a neighbor of the family. Burial will take place at Walnut Hill cemetery.
