Katlin Lakota Marie Baumgardner, 1, of Winterset, died of complications of a viral infection on Jan. 28, 1996 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were this morning Jan. 31, at 9:30 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Pastor Mark Gerken officiated the services and burial was at the Harper Cemetery in Redfield.

She was born in Des Moines on Dec. 8, 1994 to Sherman Bell and Teddi Jeen Baumgardner.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Teddi Baumgardner of Winterset and her father Sherman Bell of Des Moines; one sister, Brady Baumgardner of Winterset; one half-brother, Michael Bell of Des Moines; grandmothers, Judy Waltz of Des Moines and Stacy Robinson of Starkville, Miss.; and great-grandmother, Elsie Stippich of Winterset.
