Note--There is no death record available for Jelle Werkhoven (1864-1941) or Jelle & Mary's first child, Nina M. (1897-1904), due to gaps in the records at the Lyon county courthouse that cover the years of both of their deaths. Both are buried at Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley (Sioux), Iowa. Besides Mary, Jelle & Mary's first son, Cedric Marion, is also buried in this plot. Their burial place is in the south section on the east side of the road, row 23.
