I just ran across a newspaper article showing state senator Sam Wilson (Louisa County, Morning Sun Iowa) as my great uncle, (my grandfather's brother). If you are interested I can send you the article. I am also starting to look for family and my roots. There is a bit of info in old photo albums all showing Morning Sun, Iowa. Wilson is a common name. All my Wilson relatives died young, including my dad when I was 14 so I don't have any verbal history, only what my mom tells me and that is that my grandfather was not close to his Iowa relatives and that is why he moved out of state.
