Columbus Junction -Wm. Edwards, an old settler in this vicinity, who came here in the early fifties, died Sunday, December 27th, after an illness of a few days. He was aged eighty-one years and was a Civil war veteran. He is survived by four brothers, James Edwards, of Montana; Marvel Edwards, of Kansas; Jake Edwards, of western Iowa, and Frank Edwards of Columbus Junction and one sister, Mrs. Sam Duncan of Columbus Junction.
